Market to Market

This little piggy went to market!

I absolutely love wandering around farmers markets, especially in a different country. The different smells, sights, & sounds are intoxicating - but when you aren't traveling you can still satisfy your market craving right in your own town.

Gorgeous garlic bulbs

Shallots, artichokes, summer squash, red potatos

Can't go wrong with supporting your local farmers & buying organic!

Honey bees! These busy bees have been at the Belleville market since my childhood.

Natural honey hand creams

Seasonal fruits

Even Asian comfort food!

Shrimp & Pork Dim Sum

Authentic Chinese spring rolls - pork, shrimp, veggie

My goodies
It is amazing what you can find at your local market. I ate delicious dim sum in the heart of Belleville, ON! I also found a beautiful homemade rug, & a light maxi dress, perfect for summer weather & vacationing. Visit your local market & see what you can find!

Enjoy the weekend :)

Thursday

Beaver Hall

I spent last weekend in Montreal with six wonderful friends, including one very excited bride-to-be. Before things got too crazy we got all dolled up & headed to Beaver Hall for dinner.

Having only been to Montreal to catch flights I wasn't familiar with its restaurant scene. I wanted to pick the perfect dinner spot but all I had to go on was the City of Montreal's website, Trip Advisor, & my research skills.

Based on reviews & the menu, I made reservations at Beaver Hall & I couldn't have been happier. Everyone's meals were delicious, the service was superb, & the menu was budget friendly - all in all, a wonderful, mouth-watering experience!

Enjoy looking through our meals... hopefully you don't drool on your screen! :)
